Alanna Martine Kilkeary is a beauty, fashion and lifestyle journalist and blogger based in New York City. A graduate of Fordham University, Lincoln Center, she holds a BA in English and Fashion Studies. Alanna is the founder and mastermind behind Killer Queen, a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle site. She posts her favorite outfits she's styled in her tiny Upper East Side apartment, and completes every month with her favorite fashion accessories, as well as a round up of video clips. She is an expert in SEO writing, proficient in HTML and CSS, well-versed in Blogger, Tumblr, Wordpress, CMS, Photoshop, InDesign, and Final Cut.
With her creative background in blogging as her backbone, she has been given the opportunity to showcase her journalism and marketing talents in many other publications and brands. Alanna completed a three-month marketing internship at Rolling Stone Magazine in the Spring of 2017 and served as a Freelance Beauty Contributor to TeenVogue.com in the Summer of 2017 before she landed her role at POPSUGAR. Prior to that, she worked as a Digitial Editorial Intern at Harper’s Bazaar throughout her senior year of college, when she also currently contributed to Olivia Palermo’s Style Site, and journalist Flor Bibas’ website during Fashion Weeks.
